1. Ronda (Spain) 
Separated by 100m-deep valley

This Ronda city is located in hilly area and on 750m above the sea surface. Ronda is a city on rocky mountain in Malaga province. "El Tajo", a 100m valley, separate the old and new city. Some houses even stand exactly by the cliff. Between the two sides of the city there are three connecting bridges that were built in three different ages: Roman, Moor and in 18th century.


2. Bonifacio (Corsica)
70m above the Mediterranean Sea


By the end of South of Corsica island, Bonifacio is the largest society in the island. This small city stands with the 'horns' position 70m above the limestone cave that is still erosive by wind and Mediterranean sea wave. The city always be a safe city for sailors for some centuries, and now becomes a little marine with some expensive yacht laying in its dock.


3. Castellfolit de la Roca (Spain)
50m above the rocky cliff


Small city in Catalonia, Spain, Castellfolit de la Roca is bordered by rivers Fluvia and Toronell. Between the two rivers the rocky cliff became the foundation on which the city is standing. The city is in 50m of height and is 1 km long. The city was formed from two stacking lava currents, making the city one of the smallest cities in Catalonia.


4. Santorini (Greece)
Paradise in 300m high


These islands that located 200km in southeast of Greece mainland are the remains of huge volcanic eruption that destroyed a city which was standing on a whole island. The eruption made the surface of the island full of craters. The beauty of the city, with dynamic night life, made the city as one of the tourism destinations in Europe. Minoa Eruption, that happened 3600 years ago in the peak of Minoa tribe, left huge hole that was surrounded with hundreds of meters of volcanic dust stacking. That hardened dust stacking became the place where this 'paradise in height' is standing on.


5. Manarola (Italy)
The most dangerous city


The city that stands in Liguria Province is one of the most dangerous cities in Italy. It's hard to say how old the city is because of various texts in Ancient Roman age already mentioned about the wine produced from the city. Even now you can walk in its vineyard, or in Via del Amore (Road of Love) with colorful buildings in the end of the city.
