02:29The Basket Building
The idea came from Dave Longaberger, who was the founder of The Longaberger Company, that was finally materialized in form of giant yellow basket and is used as the office of the company. Dave said this was his best idea and believes that the building can improve the company synergy. The 'basket' is started to be in use by 17 December 1997 as the Home Office of the Longaberger Company in the USA.
The Dancing Building
The Dancing House is the name for the office building that is located in Prague city, in the Czech Republic. It was designed by a Croatian-born architect, Vlado Milunic, that cooperated with a Canadian architect Frank Gehry. The building was began in 1994 and was done in 1996.
The futuristic design of the building was hoped to be one of the cultural center in the country. It was called 'Fred and Ginger' at the first time, and is located between the famous Neo-Baroque, Neo-Gothic and Art Nouveau buildings in Prague.
At the roof of the building is a French restaurant. At some time the building is used for office need, not as a cultural center as what was planned, because of the strategic location for business world.
Building of Instruments
The building of piano and violin form was built in the province of An Hui, China. The violin shape is the escalator of the building. The building was built in effort to develop the tourism potential in the area.
Building of Books
This Kansas Library is a building with the coolest roof in the city. Before, the citizen was asked to choose the most influencing books and that have the image of Kansas city. And finally the books were materialized in form of the roof of the library building.
The Robot Building
This robot building is placed in the central business district in Sathorn City, in Bangkok, Thailand, which is used by the United Overseas Bank Bangkok. It was designed for Bank of Asia by Sumet Jumsai to show the computerized system of the bank.
Waved Building
This waved building was designed by Szotynscy Zaleski, inspired by fairy tales of Jan Marcin Szancer and paintings by Swedish artist Per Dahlberg. The building is in Poland and is 4,000 meter square in area in the Sopot shopping center, Poland.
