Genius Minds in Movies
11:04This week I incidentally watched two movies about real scientists. First, it was Theory of Everything about the legendary theoretical physicist, cosmologist and author Stephen Hawking (now 73 years old). This movie doesn't only shows Hawking's life at his twenties and how he got his first disease but also a very great love story of him and Jane Wilde, of which I'd say very beautiful to have such kind of love in life.

Both of these brilliant men are (was) British and both movies are adapted from biography books. Hawking's book was written by his first wife, Jane Wilde, while Turing's by Andrew Hodges. Both made huge differences in the world and both have (had) defects in their physical bodies (Turing was homosexual--which brought him into his suicide at the age of 42 because it was illegal in UK).
| Alan Turing vs Benedict Cumberbatch. Not similar in any way but Cumberbatch proves he's a great actor via media4 |
I love both of these movies and both of the casts, Eddie Redmayne and Benedict Cumberbatch are really into the characters. It's really nice to have them reliving the two big scientists to the audience. These kinds of movies really giving us knowledge and inspire us to explore more, create more, and be grateful more. Thank you, both to Professor Hawking and late Professor Turing, for your inventions! _/|\_
