Fujifilm Mirrorless X-series

Oh, I haven't told you about this. I went to Grand Indonesia with Mom and Clemy last Friday after the tech meeting for my sister's stuff. As I searched everywhere for that Lumix GM1 that I wanted but it was 2013's product so I couldn't find it anywhere if I want a new one. So I searched for another and I fell for Fujifilm X-A2.

It was Thursday, I guess, when I tried to compare products on some camera website. I couldn't find Olympus Pen in that web and it went to Fujifilm X-M1 instead. Within hours later, I was talking to my best friend Ana and we discussed about this mirrorless camera and she mentioned Fujifilm X-A2. Finally, my sister told me that she went to Grand Indonesia and visited camera shops there, told me that X-A2 should be the best option for me, not just for its specs but also from its appearance. In just one day, Fujifilm resounded over and over again around me, so I decided that I must go for that one.

So when we had a chance to go to Grand Indonesia (the only Fujifilm outlet they have in Jakarta), I bought the black X-A2 instead of the brown one (I had a big crush on the retro touch but I disliked the X-A2's brown--I prefer the X-M1's brown but the specs are lower than X-A2's). My brother said, always go for the highest specs you can go if it comes to gadgets because technology grow pretty fast nowadays. New now, old-skool tomorrow. So yes, I bought that one although it's a bit exceeded my planned budget.

But I'm super satisfied with the buying, especially that this is my first buy for professional camera. Mirrorless cameras are the new DSLR and it should be still usable for the next few decades because the lenses are changeable. I trust Fujifilm for cameras for it had been producing cameras for ages now and have the best colors in result that I prefer among the other brands'. I must learn more about photography now, reopen my old notes when I took the class more than 10 years ago. But it's better late than never, right?

I can't write more about this due to my lack of knowledge in science and physics, but this video is surely brings us a message, that there are energies working around us, that is related to aura, law of attraction and everything else--you name it. I'm just saying that our universe is a lot richer than what we know. And I am just as curious to find out more about it!

Boeing is preparing this 1000 passenger Jet Liner that could reshape the Air Travel Industry. Its radical "Blended Wing & Fuselage" design has been developed by Boeing in cooperation with NASA Langley Research Centre. The mammoth aircraft will have a wing span of 265 feet compared to 211 feet of its 747, and it’s been designed to fit within the newly created Air Terminals for the 555 seat Airbus A380, which is 262 feet wide.




"High Airframe Rigidity" is another key factor in the "Blended Wing & Fuselage" technology. It reduces turbulence and creates less stress on the airframe which adds to fuel efficiency, giving the 797 a tremendous 10,000 Mile (16,000 KM) range with 1,000 passengers on board cruising comfortably at Mach 0.88 or 654 MPH, which gives it another advantage over the tube-and-wing designed A380's 570 MPH.

I really spoiled myself last Sunday. I started the day checking a new kost nearby but I didn't take it because the room size is about half my current kost. But I super like the neighborhood. Too bad it's not mine. I then went to Denpasar for facial treatment and had it finished at about 4 p.m.


I went to a shop I checked earlier by internet to buy a Wacom Intuos Pen & Touch. I need it for my new drawing interest. I really am bad at drawing + coloring so I hope this gadget will help me on completing my current project.


I also went to some phone shops and finally bought the iPhone 5 I had already wanted for the past few weeks now. I had to let go of my old Samsung Galaxy S Advance that had been accompanying me for 16 months now for it is being too old and slow for today's technology.


I really am excited and happy for my new iPhone and Wacom--it's a prove that God is always equipping me with the stuff I need in the right time. Thank God!

Talking about future, we are here already. Ready or not, we have arrived in the time of interactive projectors like what those superheroes or villains had in the movies like Time Trax, Mission Impossible, etc. Here it is, Google Glass. Check the video out!

If you're in the majority, chances are you haven't gotten your hands on Google Glass just yet. And even if you've peered through the high-tech specs before, you might be in need of a tutorial.
Now, Google has released a video explaining how to get started with Glass, a touch-sensitive device heralded as the future of mobile. 

Here's a deeper look at how it works: By swiping the frames' "touchpad" — which runs from your temple to your ear — you can change settings and access new features. To turn it on, all the touchpad needs is a simple touch. The display positioned above the user's line of sight can be adjusted manually, similar to a rear-view mirror in a car.

The display appears to be floating a few inches in front of the eye. The first thing you will see is a clock with the time, which is the first "card" in your timeline. Other cards, which can be swiped to accessed, include the weather, your calendar and so on. Tapping on a specific card will open it up with more details, such as flight information.

The sequence of the cards plays a role as well. Cards from the right of the home screen are from the past, such as messages, videos or photos, while cards to the left are for upcoming events. You can also click on photos to share with one of your friends — contacts populate within the display, so clicking on the person you want will create an email message addressed to that person.

Meanwhile, swiping your finger downward on the touchpad will bring the display to standby.

So, I guess all those smart phones are going to be expired soon, don't you think?
