No, I had never been a winner before, literally. I had never been in a competition and won any prize, medal or trophy. But I know that I'm heading to that direction in life. I am going to be a winner in my own race of life. What I learn about it, is that the process is like a military training and it needs a very determined mind and effort to really come out as a winner.
I had been in my comfort zone all my life, surrounded by friends and family who love and support me. But now I'm entering a phase in my life where no friend is around. I learn that to really win and stand out among others, I have to do it all alone because the peak is narrowing and not all people could climb up as high. Not everyone is allowed up there; only the chosen one(s) could.
The newest thing that I learn recently is that people will always try to bring you down, or to hitchhike on our back to get to the top (and not appreciating process) while we are working our own way to win. I learn that not only acquaintances could do that, but also (the person who you thought as) your best friend, too. This had shaken me so hard, to learn the fact that not all people could accept your brilliance.
Well, this is another lesson I learned that people tend to underestimate our abilities, will use the good relationship to get more from us. Honestly, I don't mind helping people, I love doing it. But people really need to appreciate more and respect others. I think a true friend will respect and support me more and will never use me for any cause. Don't you agree?

I had been shutting down myself for some time now, sorry for my absence. Something beyond greatness is coming up, hopefully soon enough. But on its way, bad things are coming your way, like the rain, thunder, storm, tornado and hurricane that come altogether in the dark of night before the sunrise and rainbow. It's just that the hardest time in my life is happening right now, but I am struggling my best to keep breathing.
But while I'm fighting my own demons of insecurity, anxiousness, felt rejection and fear of being unloved, having trauma of being left off screwing my mind in even my most vulnerable moment, there's this man I hurt and pushed away, loving me even more, being patient for staying and keep believing in me. What a great love he had given me--I just can't thank God more of this Virgo in my fragile Pisces life. <3
His love had injected a great strength in me and I know now, no matter how hard it will be from now on--which it definitely will--everything's gonna be okay and shouldn't worry. I really am so blessed, so loved and I know I will survive this one, too. One thing that I learn here: If you're a Pisces then you have to trust a Virgo. They set a ground for you to step on this real world so you get out of your imagination and shine on.

Yesterday, my mom was bored for staying home for more than 4 days. She then asked me to go out somewhere. We were about to go to Sentul but my aunt said she was already going home from there. So we went to Mall Alam Sutera because I had never been there, but on our way we thought about going to Ancol, and asked the family if anyone wanted to join.

Shortly we arrived at Ancol: mom, me and Oma. It was on the moment of sunset, so we parked at the new mall, Ancol Beach City Mall. Not long after, Aunt Lena, Oom Kus and Angelika joined us. We chilled at one of the tables outdoor, watching the dusk sky in the west and taking photograph of it on the beach and deck pier.

The mall is not so new, but nobody knows about its existence. Not so much fun inside of the building, but the open space is really nice to hang out. It has parts for dining, for relaxing in gazebos, picnic on sand, a bicycle lane, a pier and a live music stage. All of them facing west, perfect for watching sunset. If you like an urban touch on the beach, this mall is a nice place to sit down and chill.
After that we visited Pasar Seni (Art Market) that apparently still open till 11 p.m. There are many painters in various style exhibiting their artwork for sale in small huts in the complex area. It is fun to see the paintings, and I caught few that I liked. Too bad it started to rain so we hurried to go home. The next time I'm going there, I'll try the Gondola for sure!

The last two cases were ordered from UppercaseID. I picked the images from Pinterest and they put it together for my phone cases. I love how it turned out, with all doff surface and the packaging (it came by postal delivery, since I ordered it online) was nice. It's highly recommended if you want something unique!

I don't know how to post this, but I really think I need to. A friend promised me a short story for my birthday gift and last Tuesday he really gave it. On his blog. The title was Lima Hari Di Pasar Malam (Five Days in Night Fair). I do not have a right to copy paste it here, but short story shortened, it's about how he describes the stuff inside my head as a fair. A carnival. How fun is it!?
Well, the fair was forbidden for those who don't own a ticket, and in the story, he doesn't have it. So I guess he thinks I'm such an introvert person to him. I didn't see this coming, tho. Both the story of carnival and how he thinks of me. But it's nice to read something about ourselves from a such thoughtful person (borrowing my sister's phrase).
By the way, his name is Andi Fachri. He is a friend I met in Bali who moved back to Jakarta shortly before I did. We had fun 'coffee talks with stranger' (as he referred it), but apparently not enough to buy him a ticket to the night carnival. Shame on me, but maybe I'll work on it on our next coffee time.
It's just lovely. Thank you.

I had been lying on my bed and sofa all weekend, having small bump here and there on my reddish skin and having big problem with the itch it caused me. I took medicine and it made me drowsy every time I took it so I was literally just resting the whole long weekend. My sister stayed over and we had great moment at home with Fabian, her boyfriend, and Mom.

We had dinner at Tjap Toean, which served Peranakan (Chinese-Malayan fusion) food, which tasted quite nice. Well, the night went all right, with lots of laughter, story exchanges and book purchases (Periplus was having book fair with crazy discount). I really had a great time, reckoning we don't gather as often as we used to now. After all, family is a blessing. No matter what.

I know I bore you with this movie soundtrack covers but this one is really worth watching. I would say this 11 year-old Utah girl, Lexi Walker, sang the song much better than Demi Lovato or Idina Menzel. And the African-style arrangement from the British singer and actor Alex Boyé and One Voice Children Choir from Salt Lake City, USA, had made it just perfect. No, I just can't let this one go!

Yesterday I went to Setiabudi One for a short meeting with Ferlyna, my college mate. After that, Joey asked to meet, too, so he joined me and after two hours chatting we decided to watch Need For Speed. It had been quite some time, but I really enjoyed both the movie and my companion. I don't know why but conversations with Joey always need at least two hours for just one topic. Feels like time flies when we chat. He really is a true friend.
The movie itself, adapted from a racing game by EA, was great, especially with the speed. Although the casts are mostly new comers--my eyes recognized only for Michael Keaton, Dominic Cooper and Rami Malek--but the cars selection was jaw-breaking for expensive car lovers. The driving tricks and race surprises add some points. I would say this movie is considerable for watching--just don't compare it to Fast & Furious series which is more complex.
I went to the Earth Hour press conference last Sunday in Kempinski Hotel Indonesia, which supposed to be in the Car Free Day program every first and third week of Sundays in Sudirman-Thamrin in Jakarta. Some celebrities like Nugie, the Environmental Ambassador, and many of pageant misses (Miss Indonesia 2014, Miss Earth, Miss Scuba, etc) came to show participation on the event. A young movie star newcomer in Indonesian, Pevita Pearce, was also there.
Each shared to the audience their actions on loving our Earth. It could be as simple as not littering, unplugging electricity cords when not used, not using aircon if not necessary, or what needs more commitment like planting 100 trees like Pevita did in 2013 in little project called My Baby Tree. She is now challenging herself to sleep without AC, which I had been doing in almost my whole life.
For me, reducing plastic usage by preparing my own reusable shopping bags always ready in my handbag has been my action other than, of course, limiting the electricity use, paper & tissue use and water use, also to dispose trash in its place (not on the streets!), and separating it by types (plastic, organic and recycle ones) if possible (thanks to Sesame Street with the education when I was little). I really wish I could be a commuter, but I'm not ready enough in Jakarta. But I go without car whenever it's possible.

The Earth Hour 2014 is coming in two days, asking all of us a little contribution for this world we are living. Even before experiencing Nyepi in Bali--the idea of this whole 60+ things, only conducted for the whole 24 hours once a year--I had been participating with Earth Hour since its first year in 2008. Now more people are joining, why don't we go silent and dark for just one hour?

About weeks ago I was introduced to another out-of-mind invention. It's the Peters World Map, a different kind of world map than the one we know, Mercator Map (1569), that blows our mind to think that this Peters' one could be the real time map of this world we are living on.
Peters World Map was brought by Dr. Arno Peters at Press Conference in Germany (1974) and published first in English version few years later (1983), that shows the irregularities between the traditional map to the actual shape of Earth, which is round. The map we've been using (in 2D) will not be able to meet the round shape of this world (in 3D), and this is a problem we never thought of.
The Peters Map has some important characteristics as follows:
- It is an equal area map;
- It shows all areas according to their actual sizes. Accurate comparisons become possible;
- It is an equal axis map;
- All North-South lines run vertical on this map;
- It shows equal positions;
- All East-West lines run parallel.

If you take closer look at these maps above, you would agree that there are some incompatibilities if the traditional 2D map (world atlas) is turned to 3D (globe). But if the sizes and shapes of the countries are actual and accurate in realtime, then the oddity is in the shape: the world couldn't be a perfect round but a little oval. The anomaly is: if the world is round and the right map is the traditional one, then how could these meet in the middle? Which one is true?
My Conclusion
There should be some parts in this world hidden from our human eyes. It is possible that the lost ancient kingdoms (such as Atlantis, Shangri-La, Babylon, Mesopotamia, Sumeria, Aztec, Inca, Maya, Sparta, etc) are still there all the time, only hidden by invisible walls so we could not find it. (And it is also possible that they will all 'return to us', in short period from now!)
I would say: that the world is round and the map we are using is accurate. There are some areas hidden from us, which called as Area 36*. This Turangga Seta** group is researching about world's anomalies and presents to us the facts and truth of the world's history. Everything in it is mind-blowing because it will pull down almost everything we know for the last few centuries: history, archaeology, astronomy, physics, quantum physics, and even religions. Are we ready for that?

I suggest us all to stay open to anything and to keep logical on reacting on this. Everything that brought by the Turangga Seta is logical and simply reasonable. It is our current knowledge and beliefs (that had been passed on from generations before) that makes new theories hard to believe. But then again, maybe we all had been fooled from the first time.

I just created my first comic of Being 30 (and Single!) that I plan to do a series of it this year (while I'm 30) starting with this one. Less friends is one of the challenges we must face in the thirties. Old friends get busy with their new families, new friends are mostly much younger than we are. So being 30 is time to be more with yourself, to dig deeper inside and try new stuff you've been wanting to.

So it all started on Saturday when I was left alone at home (Mum went to Bandung) and had to drive Goldi to her modelling class. We picked Angel up first then had a late pizza lunch at Pisa Kafe Mahakam. Maura, Angel's friend, joined us for a bit before they were going north by busway. I dropped the girls at the Al-Azhar busway terminal then went back to BSD.
At around 6 p.m. everyone was gathered at home: Mum arrived from Bandung, Aunt Dewi came from Karawaci, and my brother, Ben, from Kelapa Gading. We then went out to The Breeze for dinner, had some meat at Meat Me. Aunt Siska and Goldi caught up later and made it merrier. Then later I had some conversation with my brother and mother. It was nice.

The next morning we woke up a bit lazily then picked up our sister at Bintaro after her German class. We then headed to Teraskota, BSD, for lunch at Gandy, which famous with the steak. But I should say the service was kind of poor, perhaps because they keep the old waiter too long. But the meal were still great.

After that we crossed the street and went to BSD Square to sing karaoke at Inul Vizta. Aunti Siska joined us at the second hour so we added up another hour to maximize the moment. I got this 1 hour free voucher so it was okay. What surprised us was to know that the entertainment tax in South Tangerang is up to 30%! It was kind of robbery, we think.

To surprise me more, after quick early dinner at KFC, my siblings came to me to give birthday present, which I didn't thought they were having in mind so they really got me there. I was really touched that they gave so much for me, just to make me happy on my birthday. Mom also got me bag for the present. I had been looking for bag since I moved back to Jakarta and now everybody got me bag!
My siblings went home soon after, but my day wasn't over. I went to meet my boyfriend and we had late dinner at Orenchi Ramen, Mangga Besar (which was recommended!) At 12 a.m. he was surprisingly thrusting me the cute birthday cake and asked me to make a wish. I didn't have this privilege of blowing off candles for the last two years (or more, I don't recall..) so this was really special.

On my birthday I had a juicy burger for lunch at Carls Jr. for I had been craving for juicy meat with melting cheese for the whole weekend (and I had a lot of it). It was really satisfying but I had enough with meats now I'm going back to homemade food from now on..

I went home but only had about 5 minutes to sit down, and my grandma came with Aunt Lena. They brought me another birthday cake, some birthday presents (bag, again, from Oma and maroon watch from auntie). Then Aunt Siska came with Goldi, bringing another present (pearl and gold necklace--thankfully not another bag). I really am happy for the day. Having family to gather just for my day, it's just so precious!

Today is my 30th birthday. I really didn't have any plan on it but turned out my family did. It's like having a three days birthday, for it falls on Monday--but the celebration had started from Sunday. My siblings came by last weekend and we celebrated with Mom on Sunday. We had lunch at Gandy, Teraskota, then a 3-hours karaoke with Aunt Siska at Inul Vizta, BSD Square.
Later at night I went with my boyfriend, celebrated the moments toward the big day together, eating at Kota area. I should say, Kamseng Restaurant should be off the list (we were looking for rice porridge better than Laota, Bali, but this one just failed) but the Orenchi Ramen should be counted as great. Finally I reached 30, having the man I love so much beside me. What more could I ask for?
Today Oma, Aunti Lena, Aunti Siska and Goldi came to my house, bringing birthday presents I hadn't receive as many for years now. I feel so loved and blessed, having all those greetings and wishes from friends and other family via twitter, facebook, line and instagram also. I think being 30 isn't scary at all, but exciting instead. I feel abundantly happy, so contented and joyful, enjoying all the attention I got today.
At this new age, I have learned so much about life, although not all about it yet. But from what I've experienced and based on my reflections for the past few years, I wanna write those down here:
- There is no such thing as perfection. It is always our mind, behavior and reaction that makes something perfect.
- Happily ever after could only exist when you put your love, effort and commitment on making it happen.
- We will never be left helpless. Even at our weakest point God will send someone/something to carry us up again, even when we forget to ask. Just keep the faith!
- Eventually things will fall into its places, even when it seems impossible. Be patient and believe--then God will do the rest of things for us.
- Our kindness will never be wasted. Perhaps it's not the person who we help that gonna help us back. But God who sees it all knows it all. He will reward us in the end, and when He does, it will be beyond our imagination.
- Always have in mind: God's plans are much better than what we know or could ever think of.
- Never push over or force for something to happen. If it's not meant to be, you are wasting your time and energy. If it's meant to be, it'll come to you effortlessly.
- About love, I would just say it's the most beautiful blessing God had given to us human and we simply shouldn't refuse it when it knocks on our door, no matter the circumstances are. Love is the best thing could happen to us, beyond our logic or rules. Sometimes we need to break the rules and just feel. For me, the most important thing is our heart, more than any other parts. And when you find what (or who) suits to your heart, you don't let it go.
Now, I simply wanna say "Thank You". You all had made my 30th birthday so special and remarkable. Love you all! <3

Its radical "Blended Wing & Fuselage" design has been developed by Boeing in cooperation with NASA Langley Research Centre. The mammoth aircraft will have a wing span of 265 feet compared to 211 feet of its 747, and it’s been designed to fit within the newly created Air Terminals for the 555 seat Airbus A380, which is 262 feet wide.
The Airbus A380 had been in the works since 1999 and has accumulated $13 Billion in development costs, which gives Boeing a huge advantage. More so because Airbus is thus committed to the older style tubular structure for their aircraft for decades to come.
"High Airframe Rigidity" is another key factor in the "Blended Wing & Fuselage" technology. It reduces turbulence and creates less stress on the airframe which adds to fuel efficiency, giving the 797 a tremendous 10,000 Mile (16,000 KM) range with 1,000 passengers on board cruising comfortably at Mach 0.88 or 654 MPH, which gives it another advantage over the tube-and-wing designed A380's 570 MPH.
The exact date for introduction of the 797 is as yet unclear, but the battle lines are clearly drawn in the high-stakes war for future civilian aircraft supremacy.

By now, everybody has heard about how two passengers using European passports, stolen from tourists in Thailand suggest that the greatest likelihood for the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 from the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, China and was that these two people using these stolen passports were suicide bombers.
Family and friends awaiting their loved ones at Beijing International Airport complain that they were "treated like dogs" by Malaysia Airlines, when they were not informed of any problems with the flight until several hours after it was supposed to have landed.
Seeing the radar playback of the moments leading up to the plane's disappearance, one may forgive Malaysia Airlines for not being more forward, in this case - because the radar playback is not only baffling, it shows two distinct anomalies, as pointed out by Intrepid citizen-reporter and YouTube popstar, DAHBOO7.
The radar playback depicts dozens of planes in flight over the region at the time. The first peculiarity is seen in the lower left of the screen. A round object appears in the vicinity of Flight 370 (and amid several others), which the radar does not automatically "read" as airplane. Suddenly, this round object take the form of a "plane" on the radar screen and accelerates at a rate of speed that must be at least five times the speed of the surrounding planes, heading eastward, over the South China Sea - and just as suddenly the object stops and appears to hover in place.
During this same time, there is some evidence that shortly after crossing the Malaysian Peninsula, Flight 370 was in trouble. The radar playback shows that the plane took three sharp turns: right, left, right at an altitude of 35,000 feet and at a speed of 473 knots - just before the radar readings instantly go from 35,000 feet to 0, with the plane still traveling at that speed for a few moments more, at 0 feet altitude before it vanishes from the screen.
As of this writing, this plane remains missing, even though the sea is relatively shallow in the area where the lane went missing. As for the other object described here, it disappears as well. There have been no reports about this object - or plane, or what have you; whether it was a commercial airliner, like the many others in flight during the final moments preceding the disappearance of Flight 370 - but the object in question certainly didn't behave like a commercial airliner.
Regardless of whether or not this mystery object had anything to do with the demise of of Flight 370 - what IS evident is that the radar readings shown in this clip captured signals from what for now, can only be termed a UFO. - See more here.
Now, what if the strange flying object we call as UFO is something that came from our own world, only few millennium before our time and still exist until today, been hiding all these past centuries to give us time to thrive until the day they will return? Is this theory as hard as--if not harder than--to believe the theory of having some sort of weird creatures living in outer space, being smarter than us human?

Isn't it more logical if the so-called ET was actually our ancestors or gods/goddesses that have abilities to create magnificent things beyond our imagination and have the formula to keep on living, only hidden from us because of the development of this generation--or some other reasons?
