Another Victoria's Secrets

This is officially my second day of working and already I feel much more alive. I met some of my ex-colleagues yesterday by lunch time and they were talking about the shits happening in my old office. I shouldn't really bother, but I dunno why there is a company so bloody messed up like that.

I'm just so very glad that I've resigned months ago, before they fall deeper now, before the systems got so messy it made the whole company ruined. Or maybe only us who feel it's ruined.

If I were a company owner, I'd certainly want my workers be loyal to me and the company, work their best for the company, not only for the money, and feel happy as both human and employee, so that they could sell my good name everywhere, not embarassing me in front of many people.

What my old company owner did, were just opposite the points I mentioned up there. She didn't treat her employees well or human-like enough that they don't feel to be loyal even just a hint. If most of the employees feel the same way, I guess the mismatch here is in the management..

I start working again, effectively today tho I supposed to start by last Monday. It's pretty exciting, to be employed again, actually, cuz more or less it made my life more scheduled, more organized and more lively. At least my brain will be occupied most of the times.

So, this company I'm working at is a small one, but the projects are many and nice ones and I'm gonna handle a project in Bali. That is exciting.

I was off yesterday, by the order of the company owner, and took a walk with W and Hendra, friends from Singapore, to Grand Indonesia to have a late lunch and some shopping, then we went to Tebet Utara Dalam to shop some more stuff at distros, and finally visited our friend Eurika at PIM2 and chilled out at Oh La La Cafe till 10 p.m.

It's really nice to go back to work after 4 months of too-relaxed-holiday and I'm so ready for such new adventure ahead. LOL. But forgive me if my blog's gonna be less taken care of since my 'new' activity, but I'll try to keep on updating. May God bless us everyone and have a great rocking day yourselves!

2. It is so close to the other two Gilis you could even 'walk' through it when the tide is low. Or you could just snorkel.

4. It has a glimpse of Bali with many international tourists but in a more secluded and exclusive yet in a more modest way.


5. It is such a peaceful island it's perfect for honeymoon with a low budget!

3. It has no motor vehicle in it so it's pollute-free and noise-free it's so peaceful,


4. Its people are friendly and well-trained that you'd feel very much welcomed,


5. It has gentle soft white sands where you could relaxly sun bathting on it.

I was blogwalking through Indonesian blogs and found this funny article about Indonesian celeb's real names. The shirts they were selling from the design competition were nice and worth buying, too. Check them out here.


I am also a fan of Nguping Jakarta blog for fun stuff. They collect funny/silly sayings quoted in every corner of Jakarta. They are really worth reading, especially when you need some laughter. But I gotta warn you cuz it's all written in Indonesian.


The other blog I'm interested in lately is Agnes Davonar's. This blogger girl who recently in contact with me through Joey put an interesting short story which include the same guy we know in it. It's worth reading tho.


She also put an article about the end of day. Of the same topic my schoolmate Anthonius Koko wrote an article in his blog about it. Some say it's because of the peace statement between Israel and Palestine, the other say becuz of a sun storm. But both mention the same year; 2012.


I have my own theory about it. Remember 'Heaven is So Real!' book by Choo Thomas? In her testimony Choo said that she saw her baby grand daughter (when she was writing the book) was already a teenager when she was uplifted to the Heaven on the 'end of day'. By my calculation it was going to happen in around 2011 or so. And it matches the testimonials or predictions.


[So, whether you believe in those articles/prediction/testimonials/other stuff about it or not, we better be prepared for the Kingdom of Heaven for it's getting near, buddy!]


Still about Indonesian blogs, recently I'm submitting into and putting on my blog some of the blog clubs or links like Blog Day, Blogarama, Feedjit, Blog Catalog, Keluarga Blogpop, Indonesia Matters and Blog Indonesia.


They were pretty confusing at first, for they're so many, but it helped quite good to enhance the popularity of my blog. I hope it does and could make me as popular as Agnes Davonar although we're writing the different type of blog (mine's personal and hers is more public.)

It was Friday and Mario fetched me by his boss's Neo Baleno car to MBK church. Monica-Ronny and their family were there already for the wedding's rehearsal. We waited at the hallway until they finished.

We drove to Rasane Seafood at Greenville to have dinner. I found that Monica was really a pleasant girl, with the friendly Ronny as her soon-to-be-husband. We had seafood for dinner and then we chilled out at J.W. Marriott Hotel where they were staying. We had a late Haagen-Dazs ice cream at the hotel lobby.

The next day, I was fetched by 11 a.m. to the Puri Casablanca Apartment to check us all in. It took us some time to check 8 units of 3-bedrooms-apartment units in, and when we were finished, we went to Poly Salon and Bridal at Tanjung Duren to measure my body up for Tasha's brother's wedding on Jan 31.

I met my old pals Sally and Tasha there and it took us only few minutes then we drove off to Cideng to fetch Mario's dad and we went back to the apartment to drop him off before we had super late lunch at Ma'mink Daeng Tata around Tebet.

We went back to the apartment, took baths, and went again together with Ie Mei Ling's family to Bumbu Desa at Tanah Abang. We had Sundanese food for dinner but I only ate karedok since my stomach was still full.

When we went back Ci Lia was already there with her cutest son Noah Rafaya. We played with the baby till almost midnight, then went to sleep. I slept with Lita and her mom on two beds joined so we got bigger place to lay on.

I woke up by around 7.30 in the morning on Sunday. We got 4 breakfast privilege for each room so I went down with Mario to have some pancakes, toast and omellette. We had to get ready before 10 so we took baths and departed to Mario's dad's office to drop some stuff off. We waited for some time before we went to Maria Bunda Karmel (MBK) Church at Tosiga.

We arrived at the church by around 11 and joined the other family who were already there. By 12 p.m. the Silanus and Permadis walked into the church and came the bride with her father to the aisle. She was beautiful. There in front of Jesus' cross, the pastor and the people, Ronny and Monica was legally married.

The holy matrimony finished by around 1.30 and we went back to the apartment to check out from the hotel and get prepared for the night's reception. Tante Kim helped put the make up on my face and did something to my hair.

Mario and I then went back to my apartment. Mario had a shower while I retouched my make up, wore my new kebaya on and then we fetched Mario's dad before we went to J.W. Marriott Hotel. The families were already there, it was 6 p.m.


I met my schoolmate Erica there who happened to be Monica's cousin. I also met Lita's parents there; Ronny's mother was from Bukit Tinggi and is a friend of Lita's dad who was a Padangnese. The party was quite casual although it's pretty luxurious. But the attention was drawn more to Noah Rafaya than to the bride and groom.

At the middle of the party Ari Lasso who was a guest dedicated 3 songs for the newlywed couple. We were all fans of him and we were excited to see his live performance by our own two eyes there. It was really a nice party, plus the red/white wines we could order.

It was a very tiring weekend for us all but I was so glad to have the experience, one more step closer with Mario's huge and lovely family. They already consider me as part of them; especially by Monica+Ronny and Jane; and it made me more comfort being around.

I woke up by 6 to see the sunrise, but the sky were dark and cloudy so I got back to sleep. I woke up again by around 8 and we had our breakfast at the room. We were fetched by a boat by 11 a.m. so after packing up and paid the hotel we went to the pier and sail we went.
