I went with my ex-colleagues again last night, made appointment in Grand Canyon Cafe, Darmawangsa Square. There were already Wisnu, Angger, Edwin, Pak Joko, Pak Lazuardi, and Mas Ito sitting at the sofa set on the corner. Moments later Joe, Sisca, Pak Eko and Maya joined us but we didn't stay too long there since the salsa practisers were moving around the dance floor. We couldn't chat there.


So we moved to Tee Box, also with Shereen and her bf Doddy, to have dinner and better chatter. Mas Faisal joined us and that made the 14 of us. We sat at the same couch sets from the last time we were there; on the corner near the toilet (yea I made this sounds ugly but in fact the place was comfy enough and the toilets are nicely designed.)


We had fun there, as usual, despite that we just cancelled our plan for the 'grand vengeance mission' but we still had fun afterall. After dinner the boys ordered Exotic Lychee flavor of Vibe and pitchers of Heineken. It was really nice to have fun this way after a weekful of stress at the office. We really had a good laugh (especially when we found out that the live band played only evergreen songs and the only Indonesian song was ST 12's. ROFL..)

The Lord is good, He is indeed! I was trying to get a travel service to get myself to Bandung last Friday night but the seats were full from 4 p.m. and there were no signs for me to get any cancellation seat but to answer my prayer my cousin, Goldi, messaged me and said she was going to Bandung that night with her parents. See, all I had to do was asking and hoping bad enough and God sent a transport He had prepared for me.

So they picked me up at the apartment lobby by around 8.15 and the four of us went to Bandung by their Toyota Avanza, stopped by at KM 19 Rest Area for late dinner (where I met Eric and his newlywed-wife), and continued our journey and arrived by 12 a.m. at Braga Citywalk. Ara fetched me and Goldi at the condo lobby cuz Goldi was staying at my house that night, together with Oma, Aunt Agnes and Uncle Indra who arrived 5 minutes before we reached home.


The next morning I went with Goldi for a morning tour picking Bent up, had breakfast, then prepared myself for the day. Ara came by around 3 and we went to Ciwalk for 6.45 p.m. Push movie at the new XXI theater. Next thing, we went to Alter Ego as our last destination that night.

I also chilled with more of Ara's friends there; Julie, la francaise madmoiselle whom I gave my BLONDE necklace (it suits more on her); his schoolmates; and Reggy--his best friend whom I haven't seen for 2-3 years. It was nice, tho, to meet them all. But the clock was ticking out and I had to go home so then we did by around 12.30.


Sunday morning, I woke up earlier than ever, took bath and departed to drop Bent at the Ocean Net and drove my way to the South, to pick up Livia for morning mass. We were so late for 8.30 mass at Cathedral so instead we went to 9.30 mass at St. Paul parish at Jl. Moh. Toha. It was a nice comeback for me, since I haven't set foot on the church for years.

After driving Livia back, I stopped by at Prima Rasa on the way home and bought some stuff for my granny. We talked about things from the past while we were having lunch (I bought the most expensive ambo kueh ever from the stalls at the church's front yard, but it tasted nice, thank God..) when Ara came over.

Things happened with Aunt Agnes' Yaris' front lamp so we couldn't go back to Jakarta with her that noon. So Ara took us--me and my grandma--to Uncle Gavin's apartment, but we stopped by at Kartika Sari first. We had our late lunch there, and after that we went straight to Braga Citywalk. We still had an hour to go so Ara and me decided to take some walk to the mall to kill the time. Then finally we departed from Bandung by 6 p.m.


I had a splendid weekend in Bandung and mixing of feelings along with it. I was shocked when Ara showed me his new tattoo. It had my name on it and the feeling the moment I saw it was undescribable. It awed me yet scared me in some ways.. Made me think more about our future together, our seriousness and the feelings between us. They're great--more than great, I think.. but still this all feels like a dream to me. Nice ones, of course.

There were more surprises I got from Ara last weekend. They're all nice and unpredictable. He didn't give me any hard time, as how I'd prepared for, but it all turned out to be great, and all in positive ways. I feel so blessed by his presence and love. Suddenly I found vision and mission for my future. And I'm so glad he'd found me once again.. Thank the Lord!

I was queuing for a cab last night at Senayan City when I overheard a lady behind me commenting another lady with large green bags of Crocs purchased items and she thought it was now a trend, to see how people are on race collecting those. But I still think it's silly, because:

1. You don't wear colorful holed rubber around your feet, it's freakingly disgusting.
   
2. I think it's such a waste spending hundreds of thousand rupiahs only to get a pair of this silly shoes.
3. Its model is too bulky and it's completely ruining the idea of the fashion (if you think you're one of the fashion concerned people.)
   
4. It made you look totally like an old giant infant and I don't think it's cute (please remember your body volume and age.) They're much cuter if being worn only by children.
   
5. I think the model was inspired from Dutch's wooden shoes so it's terribly unfashionable unless you're wearing Dutch traditional clothes...

I was listening to my iPod and found this song shuffled surround my ears. I think the lyrics are great and powerful, I love the idea of 'moving on' and the word forgiveness itself. So true and the thing we're facing daily in our lives. I love this song!

Mom bought me a very nice purple quilted patchwork bedcover from Agape, which made my room feels warmer and suddenly it looks much better. Thanks Mom.. (how do you like it??)

I woke up by 6 when Ara sms-ed me but finally awoke by 7 when he was on the way to my house already. So I got up, prepared stuff and left home to elect the legislatives down at Jl. Ligar Wangi (and met the brothers Wahyu and Tejo.) We drove to The Valley afterward.

His friends were there already, chillin' by the tivo and we joined them till it was lunch time. We prepared ourselves for church and had a Mr. Moo's burger on the way. We attended the 3.30 p.m. White Thursday mass and met Irma, Yanto and Tan Ira there.

We rode to Ara's grandma's home after the mass, then to Alter Ego (the new bar & lounge at Jl. Cihampelas) before finally went to Warung Laos for Livia's birthday celebration. After a pan of thin mushroom pizza (me and Ara were the last eaters) we crossed the road and took a walk at Ciwalk for some refreshing. The girls walked around for window shopping while the guys waited at Honeymoon Dessert.

We met my family there before we finally separated. But we went to The Valley again instead of going straight home. We had good times there till around 1 a.m. and then Widi, Julie and Justine came with us on Ara's ride and took me home first. This was a lovely day!

I woke up a bit later than the day before and prepared myself to go to a meeting with some highschool friends. Clemy took me to The Cellar where I met Jeanny, Frisca and Daniel there. Then Setiendy and Abby joined us for some nostalgia.
