Another Victoria's Secrets

Oh, I just painted my nails golden. Got the hobby from Julie (she always has colors on her nails and they look great on her pale fair skin) and I think I kinda enjoy it now (by being a totally unoccupied lady.) I used The Face Shop's nail polish. What do you think?

Into those pair of beautiful hazelnut-brown eyes I was looking, tried to convince myself it was not a dream I was in... No, it was not--tho all of the things that happened for the last six months did seemed like one.

I've been wanting to watch The Addams Family (TV series) again for the last 10 (or maybe 15) years but I had never found any trace of their existence anywhere (surely because I hadn't had the cable TV at home until last year.) But last night when I watch TV with Ara I turned the channel to HBO and found (only) the ending scenes of The Addams Family Values. Too bad I hadn't seen it from the beginning and when I look at the programs, it tells me that it's no longer playing on September. The slight reunion last night was refreshing but I've been wanting to see it so badly! 

Another cool music hint: I 'found' him in facebook about 2 years ago and he asked me to be a friend before I knew he was a singer. So for the last two years I've been receiving his newsletter and the plus point is that he's a good looking, too. Now, please enjoy from Illinois, Chicago :: IJ Quinn!!

A friend who is also my most loyal blog reader protested: why don't I longer write about my daily life, stories with my beloved Ara? The answer is simple: I basically don't do anything with him around but sitting on my couch watching HBO or AXN or Star Movies or some movies on DVD (if we're not out to Alter Ego or the campus.) We both are huge fan of movies especially indies and Europe's.

He's Joshua Radin and I love his music.. Me likey!

My siblings aren't coming home this weekend so today I fetched Papa who just arrived from Jakarta by Cititrans and went home to pick Mom up. Then we went to PVJ and had seats for four at The Duck King. Ara joined us, too. The duck is always great there. Yumm!!

Yesterday I went to campus with Julie. Ara was already there having his lunch so Julie and I went to my faculty building to have a slight look. After meeting some of my old fellas, the three of us went to PVJ to look for Mom's birthday present.


We were looking for a black handbag and swept all of the stores on the ground floor. After a while I decided to buy her a book by Iris Krasnow. It's titled 'Whoever you are, I Love U, Mom' ('I Am My Mother's Daughter' in English.)



Then we had our dinner at Jl. Riau, visited some factory outlets and distros, then sent Ara back to the campus and Julie back to her kost. I am so happy today for meeting my old friends: Winny and Kevin, Julan and Fandy.. those people I know from my childhood in separate ways but now being together as couples.. even the latter couple are getting married this Saturday!

It had been a great day for me (and hope it was great for everyone, too) and by the end of the day, I asked Mom to come to the dining room and surprised her with the cake and the single candle on it and the birthday presents. She already got some gifts from her other friends so I think what I bought today just completed her bliss. She's now enjoying her day in Jakarta and I hope she has really fun.
