I had Mom came to Bali for two weeks. And it was fun, I felt so much energized for being with someone I love the most. So I let her wander alone about the city at weekdays when I was working and had the whole weekends spent with her. And there were two holidays while she was here, so I got more time with her.
So we went to Ubud for our first day off and went to Sanur at the second day. We drove by bike this time, and we chilled at Anjali for some coffee and stayed there until almost sunset. We ended the day at Bali Mal Galleria and I shopped for some kitchen stuff (tho I haven't the kitchen yet) at Ace Hardware.
At the next holiday we drove around Seminyak, Oberoi and Double Six area; shop to shop, boutique to boutique, and ended up at Goodys. We walked a lot, shopped a lot, ate a lot and chatted a lot. It was a really fun day for me, having those new dresses especially. LOL.
The next day, we went for massage at Pak Oles, Bypass Ngurah Rai. We had spoiled our bodies for an hour and went for bike riding to Jimbaran. We ended up at Balique and went back to Kuta area and went for 6 pm mass at FX Church. We had dinner at Ayam Plengkung and went to Ace Hardware at Central Parking to buy another utility for my kitchen stuff, which is an oven toaster.
My last day off was spent at the south side of the island. We went to Jimbaran, visited GWK, and spent the last minutes of sunset at Balangan beach. We did had the whole sunset until it was set and this made us really happy. We had dinner someplace around, shopped another souvenirs at Krisna, and went back to my place, put some stuff there and went for a tour around Umalas area to show Mom.
I am so happy and excited to have her here, but I have to let her go back to Bandung to deal with her stuff there, living her now different world. I also really missing my brother and sister now, but this is the way life is. We are going our own ways and meet up sometime. And for that short time of meeting, we have to cherish and live it up the most.
