Short Visit to Jakarta

21:02

Last Sunday I went to Jakarta with my parents by car. We arrived at our apartment by around 4.30 p.m. and had a quick rest before having to go to the church. We attended 6 p.m. English mass--this time with Ben, too--at the Canisius chapel. It was my first comeback to church again after two months of absence. And that was great (always love the mass services of the St. Peter Canisius International Catholic Parish.)

We drove to Untar after the mass to fetch our Clemy who just came from her campus stuff in Cipanas. We then went to the Plaza Indonesia and headed to Sushi Tei for dinner. Not so long after, Hizkia came. He was with his parents and Angel. Lauren was staying at home studying. We had a great chit-chat moments with cousins while moving to MOS Burger at the eXtension.

We also spent time playing the Hasbro's Game of Life there, having time went us by with that super fun game (we knew it years ago from Adrian.) By the time we finished--Ben won the game--it was already 11 p.m. and the shops were closed and we had to go home.

The next day, on Monday, I drove Mom to Alfa to see Oma, but apparently Oma was already at Aunt Magda's home so we drove south. We stopped by Rame Rame, a Manadonese restaurant, for lunch at Jl. Ahmad Dahlan. After that, we had to find several banks before finally reached Aunt Magda's house.

[on the mood for Manadonese food]

Oma was there waiting for us and we gathered around the dining table--me, Mom, Oma, Aunt Magda and Uncle Hari--, catching up stories between us. It was so fun and funny that we once again forgot time. It was already 4.30 p.m. and we had to fetch Papa at the office and Clemy at the GI so we said goodbye and drove along the Jl. Sudirman.

I drove to Harmoni to stop by at Duta Merlin's Carrefour for another shopping. It was pretty fun since there were so many cute things to see. I got this cute purple round Clarins mirror for my room for only Rp 26,000.-!! What a cheap bargain!!

We finished shopping by 7 p.m. and stuck on traffic jam for more than 1 hour and reached the apartment at around 8.30 p.m. Mom cooked us soup for dinner and I found myself playing Ranch Rush, a game Ben gave for my Mac just the day before. I played it all night and woke up by 12 p.m. the day after.

After lunch and packing up, we (me, Mom and Ben) departed to Bandung via Cipularang and arrived at the town before 6 p.m. We went to the new Unusual Factory Outlet at Jl. Riau and also the V.A.R.C. distro beside it. They're highly recommended stores for clothes and accessories, indeed.

Then we had dinner at the Nanny's Pavillon, shopped a little more at Black Market where I got a little checkered dress.

That was really a great time to do shopping (with Mom around, especially. Lol.) Thank God and (thanks, Mom!) for all the things we could purchase. I'm so happy! ^_^
